U2 surprise Kodaline with an AWESOME gift ahead of their Vancouver gig

It may have been Bono’s birthday over the weekend, but the U2 frontman has been giving out gifts to other people.

The Dublin rockers sent a basket of champagne and guinness to fellow Irish band Kodaline ahead of their Vancouver gig.

The lads took to social media to share the thoughtful gesture U2 gave them during their tour.

“Tried to get to your gig but apparently we have to practice more. Up the Irish. Adam, Larry, Edge and Bono,” the group wrote in their letter.

Kodaline responded with: “Thanks U2, #UpTheIrish”.

The In A Perfect World stars are busier than ever as they continue with their North American tour along with several Irish dates scheduled for the summer.

The foursome recently spent some time in Malibu hanging out with pal Courteney Cox who directed their latest music video at her LA pad.

Meanwhile, frontman Steve Garrigan’s girlfriend Diana Bunici has also been hanging out with Courteney and the guys in LA.
