The BBC have confirmed Terry Wogan’s funeral will take place next week at a private service.
The iconic broadcaster sadly passed away last Sunday after a secret battle with cancer aged 77.
“Sir Terry Wogan’s funeral will take place next week. It will be a private service for the family,” said the BBC.

Meanwhile,  it was reported that the Limerick native found out he was dying from cancer three weeks ago.
According to his friend Father Brian D’Arcy, the radio star revealed that his health rapidly declined after Christmas.
