Online streaming service Amazon Prime has signed a lucrative deal with TV3 for their soap Red Rock.
The Irish series, which centres around a police station a fictional Dublin town, has been scooped up by Amazon bosses.
According to the Irish Times, the deal is understood to be worth more than €1 million – and covers the airing of 80 episodes of the soap.

Under the agreement, Amazon Prime can show the series in the US over four years.
The paper states that cast and crew were informed of the big news last week.
Cast and crew — including Jane McGrath, pictured, who plays Sharon Cleere — were informed of the deal last week.
TV3 owns 50% of the show, with the rest split between the production companies Element Pictures and Angel Station.
The soap continues to grow in cast, after just signing former Love/Hate star Chris Newman.
