Made In Chelsea star Nicola Hughes: 'People said they hated me when I fought with Binky'

Model Nicola Hughes has revealed she’s been overwhelmed by the support she’s received from Irish fans of Made in Chelsea.

Speaking to Goss.ie, the Sandyford native said British fans of the hit E4 reality show are beginning to warm to her feisty-ness.

“It’s been really good, the Irish have been so supportive it’s ridiculous,” she said.

“It went up and down when I had the fight with Binky, it was a bit ‘argh we hate you’ but it’s getting good, they’re starting to like my feisty-ness.”

The reality show is renowned for giving it’s cast a platform to build a brand like it’s former star Millie Mackintosh – however Nicola admitted she’s in no rush to launch her own products just yet.

“I’m very new to the show…I don’t think anyone would want to buy Nicola’s Nails to be honest – maybe in a few years but not at the moment,” she smiled.

Meanwhile, the 25-year-old had previously told Goss.ie she couldn’t speak in front of a camera until recently but has found her experience on RTE’s Exiles helped with her nerves.

“Yeah it’s more awkward I guess compared to people who’ve been doing it quite a while, I’m so much more used to it,” she beamed.

Made in Chelsea is due to film this summer in LA but the blonde bombshell remained tight lipped on whether she’ll make an appearance in the city of Angels.

Nicola simply told Goss.ie: “We start filming again at the end of the summer”.
