BBC series Poldark starring our own Aidan Turner has landed in the USAÂ and he’s become a star over night.
American broadcaster PBS have begun showing the popular series with Vanity Fair describing Aidan as ‘The official Mr Darcy of the 2015 summer season’.
The review also commented on the Irish actors sculpted physique saying “Who knew there were ab exercises in the 18th century?”.

It seems that the US viewers are preferring the remake of Poldark and the more muscular lead.
“Things sure have changed since the original Poldark! More abs,” one fan tweeted.
“Oh my, who do we have here?Who is THIS lovey dovey lad?? WOW! Love the curls,” another fan posted on social media.
