Actor Aidan Turner has admitted he has been hurt by love – just like everyone else.
The new TV hunk lit up our screens last weekend in Poldark, and while he’s already been described as “criminally handsome” the Dublin star has admitted he hasn’t always had luck in the love department.
“I don’t know anyone on the planet who hasn’t had their heart broken, and if they exist, I wouldn’t want to meet them.
“Yes, it’s happened to me. I’ve been upset, my heart’s been broken. Love is love. It’s the purest and rawest thing we have in life and everyone experiences it,” he explained.

However Aidan is now dating Cork actress Sarah Greene since 2012. Sarah has enjoyed huge success herself recently after landing a Tony award nomination last year, impressing Vogue editor Anna Wintour and working with top Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein.
