Nicola Coughlan stunned in a black gown at a special screening of Part 2 of Bridgerton’s third season on Thursday night.
The Irish actress was joined by her co-star Luke Newton, who plays her on-screen love interest.
The latest season of the hit Netflix show sees the Irish star take centre stage alongside Luke, as we follow Penelope Featherington and Colin Bridgerton’s love story.
Speaking to the audience at the screening, where Nicola proudly displayed her red ceasefire pin, the Galway native had the BEST response to a comment she was “brave” to share her body on Bridgerton.
At the Dublin screening for Part 2, which is set to be released on June 13th, the actress was told she was “brave” for taking on this role.
Nicola lightheartedly responded to the question, saying: “You know it is hard because I think a women with my body type, women with perfect breasts…
“We don’t get to see ourselves on screen enough, and I’m very proud as a member of the perfect breasts community.”
She jokingly added: “I hope you enjoy seeing them.”
Earlier this year, Nicola and Luke warned fans about the steamy scenes in the new season of Bridgerton.
When asked about the love scenes in the new episodes of the show, the actress told Australia’s The Sunday Project: “Ah, please don’t watch it with your nan!”
The Irish star added: “My mum watched some the other day and I skipped a sizeable chunk of it. Maybe if you give them Bailey’s before it might be fine.”
“We would not watch it with our nans, I think. Not going to happen,” Luke said.
Nicola agreed: “We don’t want to do it. We have seen it now and that makes us go, absolutely not!”
“It is very romantic this season. It’s fun to play out the story finally. Fans have waited a long time to see their friends-to-lovers (storyline) play out,” he added.
Part 1 of the highly anticipated season joined the streaming platform on May 16, with part 2 to following on June 13.
