One Direction's weekend shows said to be their last EVER in Ireland

One Direction are said to have warned their mates that this weekend’s gigs are set to be their last in Ireland.

The band have publicly announced that they intend to take a break after their tour to pursue solo interests, however they have reportedly contacted Irish pals to let them know their 3Arena gigs will be their last chance to see them perform here.

“There’s a huge difference between what the lads are saying in public, and what they are saying in private, which is, ‘This is the end’,” an insider said.

“‘One Direction aren’t taking a break. We won’t be back. This is it from One Direction, for the very last time’,” they told The Irish Sun.

3Arena is expected to be jam packed with old friends and acquaintances saying goodbye to the pop group.

Niall Horan is said to have invited a host of family and friends from his hometown of Mullingar to the VIP area of the venue to witness their final Irish gigs.

“There will be cakes and cards and all sorts of tributes backstage. It will be hugely emotional for Niall,” the insider explained.

When asked if 1D’s Dublin and Belfast gigs will be their final shows in Ireland, the boy’s record label said: “No comment”.

It comes after Niall recently admitted he can’t wait to come back home after being away from Ireland since last Christmas.
