Michael Fassbender’s new flick with girlfriend Alicia Vikander The Light Between Oceans has been given a release date September 2 in the U.S.
It’s reported the film, which is based on the 2012 debut novel by M.L. Stedman, is where Michael and Alicia began their romance.
According to Variety, the film follows the story of an Australian who returns home after fighting in World War I.

He then moves with his wife to an isolated lighthouse on the coast of western Australia where they informally adopt a baby girl who has washed up in a lifeboat.
The flick which was shot in 2014 also stars Oscar winner Rachel Weisz.
