Irish actor Kieran O’Reilly has joined some of his fellow Love/Hate star’s in the RTE drama Rebellion.
The highly anticipated series chronicles the violent birth of modern Ireland and is set over the three weeks of Easter 1916.
Kieran stars as British officer Captain Robert Barton in the series and was pictured with 100 extras dressed in full military attire as they filmed in the Collins Barracks, Co. Dublin.

The actor works for An Garda Siochana and was previously a member of the National Drugs Unit caused controversy after senior officials objected to his role on the crime series.
Luckily for Kieran, he was found not guilty of being in breach of the Garda code and was instead transferred to the Garda National Immigration Bureau.
The RTE star will be joined by the likes of Sarah Greene, Brian Gleeson and Charlie Murphy for the upcoming show.
