Louis Walsh is reportedly set to be sacked from The X Factor.
The TV star has been a judge on all eleven series of the competition – however his place on the show is in jeopardy.
While Simon Cowell has previously promised Louis a job for life on the series, sources close to the star say the music mogul has changed his mind.
“Simon has accepted that Louis no longer has a job for life on The X Factor. His place on the panel is not gauranteed,” they said.

“He’s unlikely to stay because we are actively looking at new options for his role.”
“But you can never rule Louis out, because he is the great survivor of The X Factor.”
A spokesperson for The X Factor has revealed it’s too early to confirm who the judges will be on next years series of the reality show.
“It’s too early to confirm the judges for next years series,” they told MailOnline.

“Each year we look at all aspects of the show from the judges to the format but it is too early to say what on screen changes might be for this year.”
“The judges are usually only ever signed up for one series at a time and we usually only start looking at the judging panel and confirming judges before we are due to film with them.”
The news will not come as a shock to Louis who previously revealed he may be “finished” with the show.
