The long-running panelist was replaced by the radio DJ after eleven series on the panel but when asked about the shows new season – Louis struggled to remember Nick’s name.
The Mayo native also wasn’t too complimentary of the BBC star’s judging skills but pointed out that he’s “doing his best”.

The pop guru also admitted that he reckons The X Factor will struggle in the ratings this year against its main competition – Strictly Come Dancing.
“They’re going to be up against it with Strictly. I still think it’s the best show on TV but it will be up against it with Strictly,” he said.
