Louis Walsh: 'I'll bring a bit of fun to the X Factor'

Louis Walsh has admitted he will “bring a bit of fun” if he returns to The X Factor .

The Mayo man, who is rumoured to appear on the hit talent show as a fifth judge, admitted he wants to be reunited with friend Simon.

“I love doing X Factor. I love working with Simon … I have fun with him. I wind him up, he winds me up. It’s a good double act. I like to bring a bit of fun,” he said.

“Simon said the door was open for me months ago. I talked to him last night — there’s a possibility I might end up on the show. It’s up to Simon.

“I get on with him really well. I’ve worked with him for 12 years. We talk all the time, so I think there’s a chance,” he told ITV’s Loose Women.

“I love finding new talent and that’s the one thing about Simon. Leona Lewis, One Direction, Olly Murs — there’s so many great people who came from The X Factor.”

Meanwhile, the music manager hasn’t been afraid to give his opinion about new panellists Nick Grimshaw and Rita Ora – admitting they are scared of Simon.

“They’re all scared of him. Well, Cheryl’s not. I think he’s scared of Cheryl,” he said.
