Louis Walsh has revealed he did watch the entire season of X Factor but admitted he isn’t Cheryl’s “biggest fan”.
The Mayo man didn’t return to the show this year and was replaced by UK radio presenter Nick Grimshaw.
“Of course I watched it, at home in my pyjamas” Louis admitted. “But Cheryl? She can’t sing.”
“I wouldn’t be her biggest fan. Although I like Rita, she was amazing this year,” he added.

Speaking to Ryan Tubridy Louis added that ratings “went down a little bit.”
“It dipped a little bit. I think (Simon) changed the format a little bit. You need to have the auditions in the little room,” he explained.
Talking about his replacement Nick Grimshaw, Louis said he doesn’t think he resonated with viewers.
“He is a DJ, sometimes radio people don’t transfer to TV. I think he was thrown in the deep end, I wasn’t very good the first two years,” he said.

And Louis admitted that he was offered €1 million to enter the I’m A Celebrity Jungle, but Simon Cowell convinced him to turn the offer down.
“I nearly was going to do it. Simon Cowell stopped me, he said it wouldn’t help my credibility. They offered me a lot of money,” he admitted.
“I might do it next year,” he explained. When Ryan asked if he really was offered €1 millon, Louis replied: “yes”.

Meanwhile the Hometown manager revealed he is starring in a new ITV show called Drive – where he will compete against seven other celebrities.
“It’s called Drive, it’s with eight celebrities. It’s a new show, we’re driving all types of different cars and someone gets voted out every week,” he explained.
