Bray presenter Laura Whitmore is emerging as a front runner to replace Dermot O’Leary on the X Factor.
The blonde bombshell is expected to be amongst auditionees for the role Dermot held for eight years.
Other TV stars tipped for the coveted job are former Xtra Factor hosts Caroline Flack and Olly Murs.

Bets have already been placed on who will stand in Dermot’s spot and Laura is climbing up the ranks.
Though Olly and Caroline are still favourites at 7/4, Â the Wicklow native is on their coat tails now at 7/1 after a flurry of bets over the past few days.
“Olly Murs and Caroline Flack remain the favourites to fill Dermot’s boots but judging by support for Laura Whitmore, she may well be the dark horse in the X Factor race,” said  Liam Glynn from Boylesports.

This isn’t the first time Laura has been linked to a ITV show, recently the beauty was rumoured to front reality show Love Island.
The show which made Calum Best and Bianca Gascoigne household names is beginning filming this summer and apparently Laura will be hosting the show.
