Joseph McCaul was given a seat on Simon Cowell’s final six acts tonight – but not without a few harsh words.
The X Factor judge had already said the former Eurovision star was “annoying” and needed help with his staging, and now Simon has said he’s just like a librarian.
“You need to think about your image because right now you are like the librarian who sings,” Simon said as he gave Joseph a coveted seat.
Although Simon later took his seat away, he went on to say he thought Joseph could do well in the competition.

“You have a great voice and even though you are annoying I am going to remember you,” he added.
Meanwhile judge Rita Ora seemed hesitant after watching his latest performance.
“I hope Simon knows what to do with you, because right now I wouldn’t know what to do with you,” she told Joseph.

But one judge who is definitely a fan of the singer is Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, who had nothing but praise.
“You’ve been consistent vocally throughout this whole process Joseph. I know that Simon said he found you annoying but he’s made a career out of being annoying,” she said.
