As thousands of people around the world get ready to watch Ed Sheeran live from Dublin, the red-haired singer has professed his love for Ireland.
The British singer has Irish roots and previously revealed he began his music career after seeing Damien Rice play Dublin venue Whelan’s.
Now Ed is back in Ireland playing the venue himself, and told fans he was delighted to be back in the Emerald Isle.
“I love being back in Ireland,” he wrote on Twitter.

Just 800 lucky fans got tickets to tonight’s gig, which included watching his dress rehearsal before the concert as well as tickets to his actual live performance.
Already queuing up early today, fans won tickets through radio competitions as well as signing up for the ticket lottery on website Applause.
Goss.ie revealed this week that Ed has also invited along some celebrity pals.
