Irish writer Niall Leonard, who is married to Fifty Shades of Grey author EL James has hit out at the movie’s haters.
The writer has been brought on to adapt the next book for the new movie and said people aren’t being forced to watch it.
“A lot of people want the book literally word for word on the screen,” he said.
“Exactly the same dialogue while Hollywood wants the movie. Of course I’m going to get detractors but nobody has to read the book,” he told The Irish Times.
“Nobody has to see the movie. Nobody is forcing you into the cinema at gunpoint,” he added.
