EXCLUSIVE! The IFTAs lose another 24,000 viewers

Since switching to TV3 the IFTAs have lost over a quarter of a million viewers – with 273,900 people tuning out since it left RTE.

Last year the award ceremony was labelled a “shambles” when sound problems occurred but still 382,000 tuned in.

The Drama and Film IFTAs took place in May this year with TV3 broadcasting for the first time, and only 108,900 people watched the show, already losing over 250,000 viewers.

Now Goss.ie can exclusively reveal that only 85,000 people tuned in last Friday to watch the ceremony, amounting to a new loss of an extra 23,900.
