TV3’s new schedule has suffered a slight disaster, with filming on classic show Blind Date being postponed.

Presenter Lucy Kennedy was set to helm the show, based on the successful original.

But to make room for The 7 O’Clock show, family favourite Blind Date has been put on hold.

Speaking exclusively to Goss.ie, host Lucy Kennedy revealed: “we’ll film Blind Date during the summer now”.

“We were to start filming next month but we’ve had to push that back because they’ve changed Late Lunch Live to the 7 o’clock Show.”

Welcoming the delay, Lucy added: “They’ve given me a little break which is nice.”

With filming reschedule until June, the star isn’t thinking about practicing her Cilla Black impressions any time soon.

“I haven’t gotten in touch with my inner Cilla yet, I’ve been so busy concentrating on the 7 o’clock show that I’ve parked Blind Date until June.”

Excited for The 7 O’clock show to start, Lucy admitted her and Martin are ready to take on the new slot even liking the show to an Irish version of BBC’s The One Show.

“It’s going to be a challenge, I think we’ll be able to hold our own – It’s going to take a while though, it is exciting” she smiled.

Lucy made the comments while showing off her amazing weight loss thanks to Forza.
