Eoghan McDermott has revealed that he was asked to film a new TV show pilot in Paris.
The Voice of Ireland presenter was approached by the producers of hit Channel 4 series Gogglebox to host the project which he has admitted is similar to UK game show The Million Pound Drop.
“I was asked to film a pilot for a television show. The production company in the UK that make Gogglebox, they want to make another TV production and put it on ITV, BBC or Channel 4 or somewhere,” he said.

“They said: ‘Hey, we like what you are doing on telly, do you want to present the pilot for this show? I said yes absolutely, it’ll be a laugh,'” he said on the Eoghan McDermott show on 2fm.
“It is kind of like a million pound drop-ish. It’s a studio game show and people try to win money by answering questions.”
It comes after the RTE host recently broke his arm in a nasty bike fall.
