Dublin star Ruth Kearney has insisted she won’t let fame go to her head landing a dream role on Netflix series Flaked.
The 27-year-old plays London in the show, the love interest of lead actor Will Arnett.
The series has become an instant hit, but Ruth said she’s keeping her feet firmly on the ground.
“I’m not in this industry to become famous. That side of it doesn’t bother me,” she told the Irish Mirror.

“I don’t go for jobs because they will make me well known, it’s so hopefully they’ll lead to more interesting roles.”
The stunner has already gained thousands of fans on Twitter and Facebook, but said she’s been ignoring reviews.
“I’m not interested in reading reviews, I’m more interested in normal people watching it and their reaction,” she said.
“The response so far has been really good. It’s a quirky show and I don’t think there’s much like it out there. I don’t really do social media myself but I hear the show is doing well from some of the other guys on the show.”
