Danny O’Reilly has revealed that he wasn’t too happy when Knoxy got engaged to his long term girlfriend.
Knoxy proposed to Aoife McCormack earlier this month on the London eye but The Coronas front man wasn’t too pleased – because he was kept out of the loop.
“We were shocked, they’ve been together forever but we thought Knoxy would tell us before, I wasn’t even happy for him, I was literally angry he hadn’t told me he was going to do it,” he laughed.
Wedding: Knoxy for engaged last month
Knoxy, whose real name is Graham Knox admitted he was sick before popping the question.
“I just had a bug for 24 hours. I had the ring then and just when I had the ring I was really nervous, I just wanted to get rid of it,” he told Spin 1038.
Knoxy is the bass player for the band and has not yet revealed a wedding date.
The Coronas are busy touring and playing festivals and will play V Festival in the UK this weekend.
