Big news for Dara O’Briain and Angela Scanlon as they have been announced as the new presenters of rebooted BBC Two show Robot Wars.
The pair will be shooting from a new purpose-built fighting arena in Glasgow and will be sure to get up close with the robots, the teams and get feedback from the Robot Wars judges.
Speaking about the new show, Dara couldn’t contain his excitement to join the Robot Wars team.
“I am thrilled to be presenting Robot Wars,” Dara said.

“For too long, the schedules have cried out for a show in which dedicated amateurs, toiling day and night, handcraft sophisticated automatons built on the delicate interplay of hand-wired servo motors with custom-built circuit boards and fingertip motion control.
“Just to see them get smashed to pieces by a dustbin carrying a massive hammer. It’s war, and how I love it so,” he added.
While flame-haired beauty Angela expressed her joy at joining the legendary show for the six-part series.
