It’s been revealed Irish actor Allan Leech will return for the much anticipated final series of ITV’s Downton Abbey.
The Killiney native has been spotted been around various locations filming scenes in 1920s period clothing.
At the end of the last series fans saw his character Tom Branson leave the manor with daughter Sybil to start a new life in America.

According to the Irish Sun, the 34-year-old star was seen by fans at the Brooklands Museum in Surrey alongside other characters.
Although the show is coming to an end, the Dubliner has been reaping the rewards of the hit period drama having starred in multi-award nominated Imitation Game late last year.
The film starring Benedict Cumberbatch and Keira Knightley saw the Irish star attend all of this year’s award shows including the Oscars.
