Celebrations are currently underway at TV3 studios as Alan Hughes proposed to his boyfriend Karl  Broderick live on air.
The Ireland AM host and his long-term partner were both on the show chatting about Ireland’s recent marriage equality referendum.
Alan shocked Karl and viewers by getting down on one knee and popping the question.
