Aidan Turner has taken time out of his busy filming schedule to take a set selfie with his cast mates.
Currently shooting in Cornwall for the second series of Poldark, the Tallaght native smiled with his co-stars, Heida Reed and Eleanor Tomlinson.
Dressed in his character’s, Ross Poldark, period costume, the TV star was all smiles as his posed for the pic – teasing fans of the next season.

Aidan’s co-star Heida, who plays Poldark’s former flame Elizabeth, has been sharing a series of behind-scenes-pics from the latest shoot. One pic sees the Hobbit star during a cast read through whilst another shows him and Eleanor, who plays his on-screen wife, enjoying an evening together. Meanwhile, the Dubliner caused a stir when he appeared first on the BBC drama when his shirtless scene went viral – causing him to become a heartthrob overnight. Â

However, BBC show bosses recently revealed they aren’t”duty-bound” to more topless scenes of the actor.
Debbie Horsfield, the script writer for drama, admitted she’s in no rush to feature Aidan’s bare chest in the second series.
“I don’t feel duty bound at all. I feel duty bound to the story – that’s the duty I see,” she said.
