Aidan Turner may have set pulses racing with his shirtless scenes in BBC’s Poldark but the Royal Family didn’t get to see them.
The famous family hosted a special screening of the show, with William and Kate entertaining President Xi Jinping of China and his wife Peng Liyuan on their visit to the UK.
The royal group watched Poldark stars perform a scene from the upcoming series but unfortunately Aidan didn’t make an appearance.

The Dublin native plays Ross Poldark in the drama series and caused quite the stir with his shirtless scenes in the first season.
It comes after Poldark bosses admitted they are in no rush to include his topless scenes in the second series.
