Aidan Turner: 'I would never sign a contract that said I couldn't cut my hair'

Aidan Turner has revealed he would never sign a contract that wouldn’t allow him to cut his hair – referring to Kit Harington’s rumoured Game of Thrones contract to keep his signature locks.

The Poldark hunk, who rose to fame on the BBC period drama, insisted that he would never be tied to a particular hairstyle for the sake of a role.

Speaking about Kit’s supposed hair contract with HBO, Aidan was adamant he wouldn’t follow suit.

“I wouldn’t sign a contract like that,” he said.

Hair Mare: Aidan refuses to be told what to do with his hair

The Hobbit star is due to come back to our screens soon in a BBC adaptation of Agatha Christie’s And Then There Were None.

“I play Philip Lombard, who’s a gun for hire, a mercenary,” he told the Radio Times.

“He’s done a lot of nasty things for his own benefit, really immoral, only cares about himself, massive ego, but a smart, confident, charming guy.”

Meanwhile, Aidan recently teased fans sharing some behind-the-scenes shots of series two of Poldark.
