BBC hunk Aidan Turner has admitted he was worried about going topless in the hit Poldark.
The handsome actor revealed he was worried his shirtless scenes would take away from the TV drama.
“I thought, ‘This is a bit hysterical and I don’t want it to detract from the show.’ And at the same time it was fun,” he said.

“People said, ‘Oh, do you feel objectified?’,
“No. Not for the genre we’re in. It makes sense that Ross should look that way,” he told the Wall Street Journal.
Although the show has made the Dubliner into one of TV biggest actors, Aidan revealed he had never heard of the books that the BBC hit was based on before he was sent scripts.

“I thought, ‘What’s Poldark, for a start?’ So I went to Google,” he said.
“Then I thought, ‘Oh, this is quite a big deal’.”
The Hobbit star previously revealed he actively avoids reading anything about himself to stay grounded.
“I think I could easily get addicted to googling myself if I did start doing it, so I just stay out of that,” he said.
