Hollwood star Maureen O’Hara has passed away.
The much-loved actress has died aged 95, with the star passing away peacefully in her sleep today.
According to the Irish Times, her family confirmed in a statement that she passed away peacefully in her sleep at her home in Boise, Idaho on Saturday morning surrounded by family.
The red-head was from Ranelagh, Dublin. The Abbey Theatre-trained actor became a US citizen in 1946 and held dual citizenship since then.

Actress Jessica Chastain shared a tribute to the star, calling her a “tough redhead broad.”
Maureen had a string of successful movies including The Quiet Man, The Parent Trap and the original Miracle on 34th Street.
