Irish rap trio have released their new music video – and the whole thing was conceived by none other than the Rubberbandits’ Blindboy Boatclub.
Rusanagano Family are releasing their second album, Let The Dead Bury The Dead, the follow up to their critically acclaimed debut.
The video is for their latest single Lights On directed by Steve Hall and was filmed in the trio’s homebase of Limerick with shots of Cruiser’s Street seen in the background.
The song focuses on embracing who you are and celebrates the multiculturalism of the trio.
The lyrics discuss the band feeling like they needed to imitate American or British rapping culture before embracing Irish culture.
The group are playing shows in Dublin, Limerick, Cork and Clonakilty in support of their new album.
