Aoibhinn Garrihy is gearing up for her latest stage show, The Importance of Being Earnest.
The Fair City star will take to the stage at the Gate Theatre where she will take on the role of Gwendoline Fairfax.
However, the TV star got more than she bargained for at a recent dress rehearsal where she was given a new addition to her costume – a bum pad.

The pad will be used to enlargen the extravagant dress she will wear, a common practice for period dramas.
The Dublin native has also had to come to grips with corsets for her new role.
“I’m back into the corsets,” she told The Herald.

“Every second year the Gate Theatre brings a production to the festival over there, so we’re going this year and I’m really looking forward to it.”
Aoibhinn is set to wed partner John Burke at the Armada Hotel in Co. Clare this September.
It comes after the actress recently opened up on working with Jamie  Dornan on The Fall and described the 50 Shades star as “very endearing”.
