Fair City have offered Hollywood actor Jack Reynor a role after he revealed he’d “love” to appear on the soap.
The long-running show’s executive producer, Brigie DeCourcy, insisted the Glassland star is welcome anytime to Carrigstown.
“We’re delighted to hear that Jack is a fan of Fair City, and, of course, we would be thrilled to have such an international star join our talented cast of actors,” he told The Herald.

“McCoy’s door will be open the next time Jack is back in Dublin and fancies a few pints and some Carrigstown drama.”
The comments come after the Wicklow actor previously admitted he would “love” a role on the long-running soap.
“I think that would be brilliant, man. I’d love it. Just a small little role. Breeze in, cause a bit of mayhem you know, pull a few pints behind the bar. A bit of drama and be gone again,” he said.
Meanwhile, the Transformers star has been nominated for Best Actor in a Supporting Role for his role in Sing Street at next month’s IFTAs ceremony.
