Cillian Murphy has admitted he moved back to Ireland to bring his kids up after 14 years in London.
The Cork native, who has set up home in a €1.7million pad in Monkstown, South Dublin, revealed he wanted to raise his two sons in a more community-based society with his wife Yvonne McGuinness.
“I think you’re away long enough and eventually you start approaching a certain place in your life and you want to be close to the people that are important to you,” he told Radio Nova.

“You want your kids to have that sense of community and to be able to get to the countryside.”
Despite his youthful look, the 39-year-old actor revealed he’s being cast in middle-aged film roles.
“I’m getting family men and I never used to get that until recently. It’s fine. I’m a dad. The work remains of a certain quality but you enter a new stage,” he previously revealed.
