A place in the Eurovision final looks likely for Nicky Byrne after landing a great draw in the semi-finals.
The 2fm host is set to perform in the second semi-final in Stockholm on May 12.
With Australia in the same qualifier, the former boyband star can hope for votes from ex-pats as well from loyal Westlife fans in the UK.

According to the Sun, the 37-year-old was named as the potential “King Of Eurovision” when Ireland was drawn first in Stockholm yesterday.
Although the father-of-three has been receiving much praise for his entry, he insisted he wouldn’t leave his 2fm presenting role.
“My aim is not to leave that. My two-year contract with 2fm is up shortly and we’re talking about doing more, so I’m not going away,” he previously told the Sunday World.
