Nicola Coughlan and Luke Newton have revealed they broke furniture while filming their steamy Bridgerton sex scene.
Part two of the show’s third season dropped on Netflix today, which follows the aftermath of her character Penelope Featherington’s engagement to Colin Bridgerton.
One of the new episodes includes a 6-minute-long sex scene between Penelope and Colin.
The mirror scene, as it has been dubbed by fans, is a highly-anticipated moment from the books that viewers have been waiting to see adapted.
The fan-favourite scene seemed to live up to its expectations as viewers have rushed to social media to share their excitement.
Nicola has since taken to Instagram to thank fans for watching the new episodes, cheekily revealing she and Luke broke a chaise lounge while filming their saucy sex scene.
She captioned the post: “Part Two is out now, we put our heart and souls into it, hope you love watching it as much as we loved filming it ❤️ #PolinForever.”
