Everyone has said the same thing about Joey Essex after Monday night’s tear-filled Love Island episode.
In the episode, Samantha confronted Joey after he rekindled his romance with Grace.
As the sleepover shifts the dynamics in the Villa, Samantha reflected on how Grace’s arrival has impacted her connection with Joey.
Later in the evening Joey pulled Samantha for a chat.
Joey said: “I saw you upset earlier.”
Samantha replied: “Well yeah, I feel embarrassed if I’m being completely honest…I just feel like I was a bit of a placeholder until someone else came in.”
Joey attempted to assure Samantha: “I didn’t want this to be the outcome.”
Samantha asked: “Did you kiss each other in there?” to which Joey replied “yes.”
Hammering home how much he prefers Grace to Samantha, Joey passionately kissed her in front of the whole villa.

The episode was filled with a heartbroken Samantha as she realised she has lost Joey.
