It has been revealed that a Bridgerton star has married their long-term partner in a “secret ceremony” last year.
Golda Rosheuvel has reportedly married her long-time partner Shireen Mulan in a “low-key” ceremony.
The British actress found her true match with playwright and theatre-maker Shireen as the couple has been dating for more than a decade.
However, it has now emerged that the pair tied the knot at the end of last year.
A source told The Mirror: “They have been through a lot together. And last year they decided the timing was right to make things official and tie the knot.”
“It was the complete opposite of a Bridgerton-style wedding – there were no extravagant displays or hundreds of guests. The wedding itself was incredibly low key.”
“But it felt right for the two of them and their friends and family are so happy for them both.”
Golda told The Guardian in 2022 that they met back in the days in the “old-fashioned way — at a mate’s party.”
The Guyana-born star has often publicly praised her partner and gushed about how her pride had a “grounding effect” on her.
“The attention has been a big adjustment and it’s great to have somebody there who can hold you in the moments you find difficult and help you navigate the ups and downs,” she told Tatler.
The latest season of the hit Netflix show will see Irish star Nicola Coughlan take centre stage alongside Luke Newton.
Netflix teased about the next instalment: “Dear reader, this author must inquire…what is the primary force that guides us on our paths? Is it our minds, or our hearts? Perhaps we should discover the answer together….”

The upcoming season will see the show return to follow the Bridgerton family for the first time in over two years.
The third season is based on the fourth book from the Bridgerton series by Julia Quinn, Romancing Mister Bridgerton.
The synopsis of the new episodes tells us: “Penelope has finally given up on her long-held crush on Colin after hearing his disparaging words about her last season.”
“She has, however, decided it’s time to take a husband, preferably one who will provide her with enough independence to continue her double life as Lady Whistledown, far away from her mother and sisters. But lacking in confidence, Penelope’s attempts on the marriage mart fail spectacularly.”
