Conor McGregor has notoriously asked U2 if they will be watching his fight against José Aldo that’s taking place in Las Vegas this weekend, and they replied in the best way possible.
The MMA fighter will go head to head against José Aldo at UFC 194 for the UFC’S Featherweight title at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada this weekend on December 12.
Taking to Twitter, Conor asked if his “fellow countrymen” U2 would be watching and if so, that it will be a “beautiful day”.

The band, who just played their rescheduled Paris dates following four sold-out Dublin dates in the 3Arena, responded to the Notorious in the most Irish way possible.
“Beidh rÃrá agus ruaille buaille de satharn san Las Vegas! Éirà Conor ÉirÔ, they replied, which means “The craic will be had in Las Vegas on Saturday! Rise Conor Rise.”
The bout between Conor and José will take place on Saturday night, which unfortunately means Irish fans are going to have to get up very early as it will air in the early hours of the morning in Irish time.
