Jennifer Maguire has revealed that she took her husband Lau Zamparelli’s surname for her daughter.
The TV star married the Italian actor in July 2014 and they have an eight-month-old daughter named Florence together.
While she only changed her surname on social media recently, the 2fm presenter revealed she legally changed her name soon after the big day.

“I did change it a year ago and it’s still weird, but people said it takes years to get used to it,” she said.
“I’ve actually been Zamparelli since I got married, but I suppose it takes awhile.”
“I filled out a form during the week for Florence and realised I wanted to go the whole god, so I changed it on Twitter and stuff,” she told the Irish Daily Mail.

The former Republic of Telly star explained that it was important for her to have the same surname as her daughter.
“I know a lot of people don’t do it, but I got my name because my mum took my dad’s name and as a family, I wanted us all to have the same surname.
“I wanted to have the same name as my daughter. I use it in work now too.”
Meanwhile, Jennifer is looking forward to celebrating Flo’s first Christmas.

“We’re having a lot of people over to ours for dinner on Christmas Day, there’s about 10 of us.”
“Lau’s a great cook, and we’ll have lots of extra pairs of hands to help. I’m really looking forward to it.
