Comedian Brendan O’Carroll has revealed he’s glad he came famous later in life – or else he’d have been Justin Bieber.
The Mrs Brown’s Boys creator said he would have been a “junkie” who was “snorting coke” if was much younger.
“I’m glad I wasn’t Justin Bieber. I’m 58 years of age and I’m much more able to cope with success,” he said.
“If it had been earlier, because I know me, if it happened to me at 20 I would probably be a junkie. I’d probably be snorting coke and hanging out of a hotel window somewhere.

“It’s been an amazing roller-coaster, ups and downs. If the downs I’ve had are the worst it gets I can handle that.
“The success hasn’t really registered. It’s like it’s happened to someone else. It’s a weird feeling.
“It’s been phenomenal. My mammy had a great saying, ‘Sometimes success is like disco music, don’t analyse it just dance to it’. I’m dancing now.”

Brendan has also revealed he is working on a second Mrs Brown’s Boys film – before his first is even out.
The TV funnyman told Radio One he will be shocking fans over the next month, including the news of a sequel to D’Movie.
“I think within the next month there will be a very surprising announcement about Mrs Brown,” he said.
“Things are happening that are going to have people saying, ‘Oh my God’. We’re also looking at a second movie.”
