Molly-Mae Hague has opened up about her “traumatic” driving test experience.
The Love Island star revealed she failed her test a few years ago, and has been retaking her lessons since.
In her latest YouTube vlog, the 21-year-old explained:Â “When I failed my driving test a few years ago, it was without a doubt the most traumatic experience of my whole life.”
“I rolled down a hill backwards and nearly crashed into a brand new Range Rover. [My driving instructor] had to pull the hand brake up and do an emergency stop. There was a row of cars behind us and I burst into tears.”
“On the test, she suggested that we got out of the car and swapped seats so she could drive because I was that nervous and that overwhelmed that I just completely forgot how to drive.”
“My driving instructor was like, ‘Yeah, yeah, yeah, you’re really ready to take your test.’ And I was like, I don’t really know how to do a hill start, I don’t really know what a lane is, I don’t really know what’s going on here but okay, if you say so.”
“Did the test, traumatised,” she admitted.
“Then I started driving lessons here, in Cheshire where we live now, and the driving instructor blocked me,” Molly-Mae revealed.
“No word of a lie, I thought we were best mates. I thought we were getting along really well… I had five lessons with him, paid for ten and now we can’t get a hold of him.”
