Tributes have been pouring in for the late Gay Byrne since news of his death broke yesterday afternoon.
The veteran broadcaster died at his home yesterday following an illness.
During his career, Gay Byrne interviewed many big names in showbiz throughout the years, from The Beatles and U2 to Colin Farrell and Boyzone
Over the last day, big names in showbiz have been taking to social media to pay tribute to the legendary presenter.
Gay is survived by his wife Kathleen, daughters Suzy and Crona and their families.
