Maura Higgins has landed her first magazine cover since leaving the Love Island villa.
The 28-year-old Irish model posed for the cover of Grazia magazine.
Opting to go fake-tan free with pared back makeup, the shoot had a stylish, understated and Scandi-inspired vibe.
Thankyou so much @GraziaUK for having me as your August cover. I feel so incredible lucky for this opportunity???? pic.twitter.com/OkJm0sRSkk

Within the pages of the magazine, Maura discussed her new-found status as a feminist icon.
“I mean, obviously, I’m flattered,” she said.
“I never realised I was a feminist! I just stand up for myself, and I won’t let anyone talk sh*t about me.”
“And you know, I do talk about sex, but so do guys.”
She advised any woman who feels inspired by her experience on the reality show to make sure they always speak up and stick up for themselves.
“Don’t let anyone walk all over you. Voice your opinion. There’s no point hiding away.”
Maura also revealed that she has to often deal with people having misconceptions about her.
“I think people look at my Instagram and think of me as a completely different person – because when I meet people out, they always say, ‘You’re so much nicer than I expected’.”
