The meaning behind the new Royal baby has been revealed.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced today that they have named their son Archie Harrison Mountbatten- Windsor, and now the name has been broken down.
Archie, is the shortened version of Archibald – a German name which means “genuine”, “bold” and “brave”.
Meanwhile Harrison is of Aboriginal origin and literally means “son of Henry” or “son of Harry”.
His full name therefore means “Genuine, bold, and brave son of Harry”.
It is believed now that Archie will not be given a Royal title, and instead he will be referred to as ‘Master’.
Speaking about their newborn today, Meghan told press she had “the two best guys in the world”.
“He has the sweetest temperament. He is really calm. He has been a dream. It has really been a special couple of days,” the Duchess added.
