Love/Hate star Mary Murray has revealed her mum is forced to watch her sex scenes with Nidge with her hands over her eyes.
The Dublin actress – who plays Janet in the show – said her parents are huge fans of the show but can find it tough to watch.
She said: “My parents Paddy and Marian are well used to be doing lots of strange things as an actress over the years and Love/Hate is no different.

“My mother puts her hands over her eyes at some of the scenes – but I suppose she’s just happy that nothing bad has happened to me yet.
“They would be fans of Love/Hate even if I wasn’t in it, so they’re quite used to dramas like this and what’s featured in them.”
Mary recently saw her character perform a sex act on the gangland boss while he was stressed out – and told the Star she does get some “smart comments”.

She added: “I believe there’s a parody Twitter account for Janet’s knees based on the scene where she brings a towel with her to kneel on.
“People have been getting a lot of mileage out of that. You get the usual smart comments on the street or in the pub, but I find it all a bit of fun.”
