Love/Hate’s Johnny Ward was shocked when a young lad asked him on the street: “Are you going to bang Siobhan or wha?”
The TV star’s character Paulie has seen his affair with Siobhan becoming one of the biggest story lines of this season – with the pair eventually romping in the toilets on Sunday.
But Johnny said he couldn’t believe it when the 10-year-old came up to him to query when more sex scenes were coming for his character.
He said: “I was out recently and this kid, and he can’t have been more than 10 or so, asked me, ‘So Pauley are you going to bang Siobhan or wha?’

“Mad stuff. Of course, I have to add that they’re not kids out of my school.”
The Dublin actor added that fans on the street are surprised that he’s “not a prick.”
He said: “[They usually] want autographs, thumbs up, and people are surprised I’m not a prick.”
Speaking to the RTE Guide, Johnny revealed that he had to go through six auditions before getting the part that he so desperately wanted.
Passion: Pauley and Siobhan share a passionate moment
“In the original script, Pauley was 35 years of age and I reckoned I would not get the part,” he said.
“But I was so determined to get it and so many people said that I would be right for Love/Hate.
“I could also relate to the character because he rode a motorbike and I’m a huge fan of bikes, but he also had a bad-boy reputation.”
