The ex-Tesco worker has agreed to sing on a track being written by Karl Broderick – who wrote Eoghan Quigg’s song last year.

However Karl – whose husband is TV3 star Alan Hughes – is looking to bounce back and finally write a winning song with the help of the 54-year-old.
Delighted Mary said: “Eurovision is one of my guilty pleasures. It’s an honour to have been put forward.”
But Karl insisted that he isn’t planning on trying to get any special favours, telling the Herald: “It will be transparent and we will enter like everyone else.”
