Mac Miller’s death certificate has been released as toxicology results are waited upon.
The 26-year-old died on Friday following a suspected overdose, but his death certificate states that his caused of death is “deferred” as the L.A. County Coroner waits for toxicology results.
The results may take over a month to be completed.
Mac was reportedly found dead by a friend at his Californian home and pronounced dead at the scene.
In a statement released by the rapper’s family, they stated that he was a “bright light in this world for his family, friends and fans.”
